Well it looks like the temps got down around 30 last night. I went out to the garden when I got home from work last night and cut the 1 cayenne, 10 bell pepper and 5 jalapeno pepper plants off at ground level and they are still sitting in the wheel barrow in the back porch waiting for me to pick the peppers. It is sometimes dark when I get home so I imagine the neighbors were wondering what I was doing last night in the garden with the flashlight. I suppose they often wonder about me…

A few days ago the lawn was solid yellow. I came home tonight and about half of what was there is gone. So… it was off to Lowes to pick up a leaf blower/vac/mulcher. I was going to check out Home Depot too but their web site irritated me when instead of actually taking me to the item I clicked on I was bounced back to the main page. Ok I suppose that being a web designer and having a touch of pms MAY have had something to do with my lack of patience but it happened more than once and that is one of my pet peeves.

 

I had originally wanted an electric unit but opted for the gas when I looked at the reality of where we live. Its almost an acre and the thought of dragging several 100′ cords all over really seemed more like something for a cartoon than something I wanted to get involved with. I’m not anywhere near that coordinated.
