Just this last week I was saying that I would like to have a garden cat. We live on almost an acre and I miss having a cat following me around outside. We have a rather large moose of a house dog named Ripley so an inside cat is out of the question. Ripley was on puppy prozac when he was younger.

We were out and about today when we decided to stop by Play it Again Sports to see if they had any used bicycle trainers. I walked in and started to ask the sales woman when I noticed a kitten behind the counter. I asked about it and she told me it was in need of a home. She said it was an outside cat and that it’s brother and possibly it’s mother had been hit by a car. She handed it to me (big mistake) and it instantly started purring and snuggling. Well that was it, we had a cat. Tia said no and as I walked to the car she continued to say no. I have lots of sucking up to do. Geeze I hope she isn’t reading this or I am in even more trouble.

Max’s duties (once she gets a little bigger) will be guarding the back porch from insurgent mice, keeping the birds out of the berries and generally being cute and lovable. Welcome aboard Max.
