I just love zinnias. So far they have escaped mildew.
The dill seeds are forming. I planted this patch of mammoth dill last year and it came back from seed this spring.
My first official garlic harvest. Ok, my second but the first one didnt’ count. The heads aren’t the largest but I had just planted them this spring. I may try planting some this fall and see if I can get larger heads next year.
A future strawberry.
Every year I dehydrate some red and green peppers. I make a spanish rice seasoning mix (tastes a lot like Rice A Roni) that uses dried peppers. I also use peppers to make relish, stuffed peppers and of course fresh eating. mmmm
Your zinnnias are great! I love them too. Garlic is normally planted in the fall, so you should get bigger heads next year from this year’s fall planting. what kind of strawberries are those? I have Alpine strawberries that I grew from seed years ago.
The strawberries are Ozark Beauty. I believe I ordered them from Park this spring. I pinched off the blossoms for the first couple of months to encourage runners. The 25 I started with are up to about 100 now and about 70% of them are in full bloom. yeah!!! Now if I can keep the birds out of them.
I’ve been scouring the online catalogs for garlic for this fall. More than likely I will hit up the local Krogers. If the stuff I planted (from Kroger) did as well as it did with a spring planting it should do fine (I would hope) with a fall planting.
Kerry, you REALLY have a photographer’s eye… I’m quite impressed, and probably a little jealous at the beauty of your photos. I’m looking forward to more.

Don,
Thank you very much for the compliment. I am really like a little kid with my camera and my garden. I am fascinated by the smallest things. Glad you enjoyed it.
