No the ground cover is just part of the garden that I have let go fallow.  I mow it every so often.  What you are seeing are nicely trimmed weeds. :-)  The canes that produce the berries are single stems that will get to about 6 feet tall.  I corral them in 2 5&#039;x12&#039; beds using 4 t-posts and heavy gauge fence wire at 2&#039; intervals around the 4 posts.  Before they fruit the canes stand up on their own fine but once the tops are full of ripening fruit they would fall over without the support.</description>

		<description>The raspberries look like they are growing on a groundcover.  Correct???
The only ones I know are on long, gangly canes, and the roots travel 2  to 3 yards away, and send up new shoots.  Rather annoying!
