Acu-Rite 00754 Wireless Weather and Atomic Clock Station

I picked this up at a local BigBox for 19.99. It is an Acu-Rite 00754 Wireless Weather and Atomic Clock Station. It has a range of 100′ and the clock automatically sets via a radio signal from the atomic clock in Colorado. I put the sensor on a tree about 20 feet from the corner of the house. It is on the North side and I put a baggie over the sensor before placing it on the tree to keep it dryish. The paperwork says the main unit will support 3 remotes but for me one should be fine. I decided to pick it up because I really think we are a tad bit warmer than the local weather stations report. Its been out there for about 30 minutes and there is a little over a 2 degree F difference with the local Weatherbug station. This could be a real difference or a margin for error. It will be interesting in either case. I like that it records the min/max temps and has an icon for displaying whether or the temps are rising, falling or stable.

I have the same wireless thermometer but I have lost the manual to get some replacement parts for it. If you still have yours can you send me the web address or phone number of the manufacturer. I would greatly appreciate it.

    Thanks,

    Brian

    Brian,

Sorry but I must have tossed the directions with any company info on it. I picked this up at Walmart. Perhaps there is an address on the package. Might be worth a trip.
