Not from my garden but something I wanted to share. The Handcock Wildlife Channel has a 24/7 live video camera set up near a bald eagle nest[edit 3/16/10 The site must have moved or the domain name was sold as the link that used to reside here is no longer valid ]. If you haven’t seen it yet it is amazingly addictive. It is complete with sound. When mom stops by to feed the kiddies you can actually hear them squawking.

Woe, Kerry, thanks for posting that.
I lucked out and the mother was there on my first try.

Hi Kerry,
Stopped in via Zoey! Thanks for sharing this. Can’t wait to show my grandkids this site…

Hi Kerry, I’ve been watching your site for awhile now and have gotten some very helpful info–re: raspberries, especially. Want to commend you on a very nice site. Also want to thank you for the Eagle Cam link. We had family visiting and spent a good deal of the weekend running in to check on the “babies” — kids and adults alike! What fun. Thanks. (:

Glad you all liked the eagle show. It is quite addictive isn’t it? I’ve found that if I can catch the nest at about 10min till 8am (Eastern) that I can watch as the sun come up. Mom (or dad) is on the nest then and it is fun to watch the family wake up to start a new day.
Nancy, thanks for the kind words. Glad my escapades have been helpful.

Your link to the Hancock Wildlife Channel video camera is an advertisement site, including “Russina Brides”, “Russian Wife”, “Dating”, “Russian Women”, “Singles” and “Christian Singles”. Is that what you intended?

KLion – thanks for the update. Looks like the old link was no longer valid. Pity.

If you want another (but without sound), there’s a good one of a nest at the Norfolk Botanical Garden, in Virginia here:
