		<description>Oh, that brings back some wonderful memories.  I was introduced to zucchini loaf about 25 years ago.  I haven&#039;t made it in years because of the calories, but I had all kinds of recipes.  My favourite was chocolate zucchini cake with chocolate icing.  Yum!

There used to be a joke going around:

How can you tell when a person has no friends? You see him in a store BUYING zucchini.

Nobody in my neighborhood seems to grow it anymore.  I guess it was too much of a good thing.

It&#039;s also good sliced and stir-fried with thinly-sliced carrots and onions with a little salt and pepper.
