Kerry’s Garden

The beginnings of the 2004 garden. The lettuce in the foreground was started in mid Februrary in the basement under lights. It didn’t do much growing till it was moved to the float tray. The rest of the veggies and flowers were started in late Feb. The bed is aprox. 5′x5′ and about 4′ tall. It only protects to a few degrees below freezing (high 20′s) because of its size. If it were larger and held more water it would offer more protection. Maybe next year
